There isn’t really a curriculum for life. Certainly, there is a successful life, but that remains in the eyes of those who set their own goals. Stanley Kubrick and the Dalai Lama are going to have vastly different opinions on what succeeding in their lives look like.
There isn’t an objective “gradebook”. There are values and how you choose to live towards those values but no one will fail your life. Galileo certainly “failed” Catholicism, but he succeeds in altering science forever. Napoleon failed to defeat England but he changed Europe and the world forever.
You don’t fail for anyone else’s, you only fail for your own. Your life is yours, theirs is theirs.
