I’m not going to lie, today I didn’t want to write this. It’s not that today has been necessarily a bad day, on the contrary, it’s been a good one. I started my first day on a job I really wanted, serving as a marketing associate with Launchpeer, a company that develops startups through their first quarter, and markets both start-ups and existing businesses. I had a delicious Shephard’s pie for dinner. I made $150. I could go on, today was pretty good, I’m just exhausted.
Yet I did choose to write. I’m gonna wake up early to get a jump on the day, and I’m fucking tired, but I still want to write. I could even excuse today’s drop of my 182-day streak as yesterday was a huge 6-month checkpoint, all the odds are in the favor of quitting. But I’m not going to quit. I’m going to write about how I’m not going to quit.
It’d be easy to have a down day today, but I want to put the cherry on the top of a good one.
