I love my family, I really do, but one thing that’s always frustrated me is crowd-gathering of family. I enjoy most of my families company (there are some very little ones that I don’t yet have the patience for) whenever I can get them one on one. They aren’t bad people. But families sometimes are not greater than the sum of their parts, nor are crowds in general. Whenever everyone is connecting on the tribal bond that they hold together, often it feels harder to go any deeper than the tribal bond. I love my family, I really do, but for the people individually that they are, not on the simple reason that they are related to me.
