Relief

Relief is one of the earliest pleasures human beings experience. Babies usually can’t do a whole lot, so they derive pleasure from relieving hunger, thirst, and *ahem* other natural necessities. In some sense, all pleasures in the world are reliefs and releases from stress, either physical or mental. Relief from pain is akin to a feeling of liberation, relief from natural stress bring the joy in laying down, relief from agitation is comforting.

Relief is liberation and freedom. Relief from monotony and neutrality is excitement.

I write this because of the joy that relief carries, and how offering a little abdication from something can go a long way. Anyone and everyone is allowed to be relieved, and to feel relieved, and letting go of anything holding you back is the definition of accepting freedom, and the freedom to find and seek and pursue all that you wish.

Until next time,

Cade
